All the Missing Girls

By Megan Miranda

3.5 out of 5 stars

Nicolette Farrell returns to Cooley Ridge to help her brother clear out their father’s house. He’s in a home, his mind slowly leaving him, and her brother Daniel wants to sell it. Nic hasn’t been back in ten years, not since she left after her best friend Corinne disappeared. Here it is ten years later, and another girl disappears. Nic, her brother Daniel, her boyfriend Tyler and Corinne’s boyfriend Jackson were the focus of the investigation into what happened that night. Now, it seems like they might be the focus of this investigation because Tyler was seeing Annaleise, the missing young woman. Annaleise was a kid when Corinne disappeared and yet here she is missing herself. Are both women dead or missing? Were they killed or did they leave on their own accord? Will Nic be able to discover the truth?

This is very unique in that it is told backwards. We start at day 15 in the disappearance and go back to day 1. That made it rather confusing at times. I had to stop and think did I miss something only to realize it hadn’t happened yet. It’s really a different way to find out the answer to a mystery. The ending was really good. I didn’t see it coming at all. Honestly, that was my favorite part of the book. I needed to get to the end more than wanted to.

I received a copy from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
